Durante este evento, el cual fue posible gracias a la coordinación de esfuerzos del U.S. Forest Service, Corazón Latino, Potomac Riverkeepers, Hispanic Access Foundation, North Bay Adventure, Park Rx America, Unity Healthcare, Buffalo Soldiers, se realizaron distintas actividades de integración que brindaron a los asistentes nuevas formas de acercarse a la naturaleza y convivir en espacios abiertos.

Pollinator Week: A Celebration of Bees, Bats, and Butterflies (and many others)

The Corazón Latino team was sure to make the most of pollinator week this year! With the help of its partners, Corazón Latino was able to highlight the importance of pollinators and engage audiences of all ages. The main events were the Pollinators Under Pressure film premier, the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Farmers Market, and Sábado Solsticio (Solstice Saturday).

Multicultural Citizen Science and Restoration Event to Educate and Engage Diverse Communities from the DC Metropolitan Area in Forest Health and its connection to Human Health.

This bilingual event will focus on education and monitoring of the Emerald Ash Borer, an invasive species that is killing millions of trees in the US.
