Camino de Cruces National Park Cleanup and Maintenance - Panama City

Corazón Latino Supports Cruces Trail Community Based Organization With Camino de Cruces Cleanup

Panama City, June 1, 2021 – Last Sunday, Corazón Latino helped the Panamanian community based organization, Cruces Trail with the maintenance and cleanup of the park. The Camino de Cruces National Park, is permeated with a grass species called “Paja canalera”. These weeds make difficult for other species of trees and plants to grow.

Cruces Trail volunteers and Corazon Latino helped sweep the area so next Sunday (Sunday 6 June) we will transplant native tree species. This is part of a Rehabilitation Project of the Camino de Cruces National Park, where communities can go to the park which is 10 minutes from the city.
