🌳 What: Now in the project’s third year (2021), Liam the Lepidopterist, 6, has teamed up with Woodsy Owl and Corazon Latino to help power his #LLWamigos4monarchs efforts.

“I am doing this because monarchs are losing their homes, we need more monarch gardens to protect monarchs from becoming extinct. We need to help these beautiful colored butterflies. We need to help them, now.”
Liam, 6, believes every day is Earth Day, though holds this milkweed and assorted flower seed- sharing project each Spring. In its first two years, Liam (with the help of his family), shared more than 200 milkweed seed kits with friends, family and those within their extended network to help start monarch-friendly gardens. It started in San Jose, CA in 2019. Now in his first year as a Woodsy Owl Conservation Corps ambassador, Liam’s goal is to distribute 500 packets from his new home in Michigan.
