Corazón Latino's work focuses on three main pillars:
1.- Campaigns for the common good
Corazón Latino catalyzes conceptualization, design, and implementation of culturally relevant campaigns to inform, empower, and mobilize diverse communities around environmental, conservation, education, civic engagement, social justice and health issues through strategic communications and grassroots mobilization tools.
2.- Youth engagement
Corazón Latino guides design, development, and implementation of initiatives to support and ignite the next generation of environmental and conservation leaders by engaging underrepresented communities through innovative, culturally relevant, and linguistically appropriate tools and programs.
3.- Disaster relief and reconstruction work for a more resilient and sustainable future
Our immediate objectives for this effort include the following:
● Mobilize emergency relief resources to Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands and other areas deeply affected by natural disasters.
● Advocate in Washington, D.C., and globally, for the implementation of reconstruction efforts that provide a more resilient and sustainable future, while prioritizing grassroots interventions and community-based growth and sustainability.
● Continue to enlist, connect, and mobilize a broad coalition of multi-racial, multi-cultural, and multi-national organizations in the relief and reconstruction efforts in Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, Texas, Florida, and Mexico
